Sing Sing

beloved... i havent watched a movie that made me want to give it more than 5 stars in a while, but this right here.. colman domingo i have no words for you brother. that was simply one of the best performances ive seen. clarence maclin was too good in this role, which ultimately made sense at the end. everybody involved had such deep ties to their roles and to each other i felt the connection (again, finding out why didnt surprise me). i love a story about how we navigate through the trauma and the trouble we face. not only naviagting it but finding power in it, which was on full display. i can go on for days about this one right here...
