how this film from 1982 possesses one of the most beautiful portrayals of intersectional feminism is beyond me. it manages to tackle taboo topics like abortion, autonomy, sexuality, rape, and divorce (topics that modern filipino cinema wouldn't dare touch btw) with respect and reverence, while remaining truly empathetic towards its characters. it refuses to morally judge any of them, despite each and every circumstance. perhaps it's what i admire most. ang ganda ganda ganda!!! alsooo fuck dodo i loathed that man. also the entire time i was in awe of how similar anna marin looked to kirsten dunst. also why was sylvia involved in the original challengers (2024). also that lesbian manager kathy had myyy god me next. also
