Obsession

A really refreshing and energetic ride through a horror that ultimately doesn't attempt to do or complicate much beyond its original premise and character dynamics that carry the film to a really enjoyable watch filled with well-deserved, scares, eerie moments, utterly absurd and ridiculous actions. The performances in this film from top to bottom are super well done and really enjoyable and really seem like the cast is not only having fun with the material but performing so in a really effective way of blending the creepy eeriness with a little bit of humor as well as some good ole fun. Really good and effective usage of simple camera movements everything from trucking shots to when the camera does get a little bit complex, especially as the film is beginning and consistently plays with the idea of slowly showcasing. The full picture of a scene is super effective.
