this show blew my expectations out of the water. it was unique and interesting that kept me and everyone else guessing every friday. there will never be another show like that. having wanda create her own reality based on the sitcoms she grew up with is so creative and i applauded the writers. final outfit is amazing. AGATHA IS AWESOME AND SO IS HER SONG. elizabeth olsen deserves all the awards. show was slightly depressing, but i enjoyed every decade, era, and second of it.
phenomenal. am i biased? a little. but i love loki and the show delivered. i never saw the plot line coming. it was just so interesting. ALSO CROKI IS THE SUPERIOR LOKI. i love sylvie, she is so cool. not crazy on the ship…. or the last episode. finale was very underwhelming. mobius is great tho, i love owen wilson. TOM, YOU DID AMAZING DONT LET ANYONE TELL YOU ANYTHING DIFFERENT. I think the main problem i have with this show (other than the terrible season finale) and why i had to dock it a point is that some of the writing was very… off. maybe it could have something with the fact that THE MAIN FLIPPING WRITER DIDNT WATCH THE FIRST AVENGERS UNTIL MAY IF THIS YEAR AFTER THE SHOW WAS ALREADY FREAKING MADE. like i know the director quit, but can we please fire the writer? because i feel like he barely understands loki as a character. hold up i’m not done. bells about to ring. like the whole thing with narcissism. yes, in avengers it would appear that loki is obsessed with himself and thinks he’s better than everyone. we also see this in ragnorok when he takes over as king of asgard. he was told that he was going to be a king. he was told that he was the son of odin, a person of higher social status. these thoughts were fed by thanos, convincing loki that he was better than everyone else and deserves the world. he literally promised him a throne to rightfully rule when he brought him the tesseract. but he’s really not a narcissist. in the first thor movie, he was literally insecure about himself when he found out that he was a frost giant and told himself that he was a monster 🙃 he literally hated himself? for being a frost giant? so… it doesn’t add up. he has this outward appearance of a confident, strong, and a “narcissist” person (especially in the first avengers or in front of anyone in that sense). he puts on this mask to appear strong when he is weak. confident when he is insecure. it’s an illusion conjured but the weak to inspire fear. anyways that’s my hot take on the subject. i just feel like they got his character a bit wrong and the character development was a little fast but i feel it is completely valid. i mean he literally saw how his actions led to his mother dying so it’s understandable that he could change his ways.
ok so this is obviously not what if the marvel series but we are going to act like it is: i really loved it. i still can’t decide on what my favorite episode was but it was fun seeing all the cool twists and i can’t wait for season two. and please marvel i’m begging you give me more jotun loki. ok that’s it.
