A Time to Kill
Incredibly well written, but really missed the mark on the klan cop being a symbol of “justice can’t be served when those designed to protect are inherently against you” therefore Carl felt the need to take things into his own hands. The audience receives the idea that anyone would do this, black or white, but the systemic component would have made this 4.5 stars (not 5 because wth was the Roark storyline)
