Hellboy

I’ve been wanting to watch this for ages. All the character designs are amazing, and it just satisfies a whimsy fantasy itch of the weird and wonderful. The comedy was great, and the acting, and whilst some bits were not great (like Liz’s fire) the CGI was really well done. I loved especially Doug Jones’ representation of Abe Sapien, he is my favourite character, and is so fantastical in his movements thanks to Doug’s acting. The plot was good, nothing particularly special, but very well executed for what it was. Definitely gonna rewatch eventually, and in my top 10 films.
