I like how the movie slowly creates a moment where Priscilla grows up enough to realize Elvis will never grow up, even though it is never explicitly stated. It also shows that true love is eternal, and sometimes letting each other go is the right thing to do, which is why the Dolly song at the end is such a nice touch. It’s not an Elvis song, which shows that while he may have been this larger-than-life figure in her life, the song reflects Priscilla's point of view.
