True Lies

This film’s budget must have been a blank check. It’s the most unapologetically American action film I think I’ve ever seen, and I loved every second of it. The kiss with the nuke going of in the background was peak, strapping the bad guy to a missile then firing him through a building at a helicopter full of terrorists was amazing, and that scene with JLC would’ve made 12 year old me’s head explode. Great movie, definitely on the list for a cosy night in.
