Dune: Part Two
I did NOT realise this movie was like Fight Club at all till i rewatched today. The way Villeneuve shows how fake prophecies and religion can turn an entire group of people into a fanatic army in most cinematic way is terrifying. Paul is literally not the hero here, he is just using their faith to get his personal revenge. Thanks to the original books ofc. Herbert really critisized people like papa, im sure he does not hate Jesus or Mohammed and just hates the fact that people after them are using the religion for their own personal gains.
