Twenty Five Twenty One
As kids, we always wanted to grow up fast, chase a dream, buy our own houses, be independent, because being young meant living with barriers you couldn’t cross…but now, growing up seems scary…
Seeing Na Hee-do’s friendship with the others, their hangout spot, the joy and sadness they all shared… It made me jealous, wondering if I’ll ever experience that kind of friendship… but that’s okay, because I can always just watch this drama and feel like a part of their friend group.
“At times I didn’t believe in myself, I believed in you, who believed in me. That made things possible.”
Twenty five Twenty one isn’t just about the ending, it’s about the path they all took together. Some relationships and friendships are meant to end and stay tied to a certain place, time or memory, because even though you may forget as you grow up, your heart still remembers — all the laughter and tears, the hatred and the anger, the wins and losses, the heart will never forget…
