Love & Death starring Elizabeth Olsen was on two opposite spectrums... elegant cinematography but a mischievous plot. Based on a true story of an affair gone wrong, this short series was worth the watch. Any viewer can reside with any character of the mischievous affair, as each character, Allan and Candy, had different reasons to partake in such series of events. Each episode had great buildup, effectively making the audience feel for Candy and/or Allen. But towards the end, a clear change of feelings was evident after the inhumane emotions was shown by a certain somebody. The court case era was perfectly paced, making it smooth and nerve racking, with some ugliness in between. Not only was Elizabeth Olsen stunning in each shot, she put on a masterful performance with not only her vulnerability, but with her facial emotions/reactions as well. An absolute masterclass she displayed. This series is a must watch for drama lovers like myself.
