Prisoners

after watching Dune and being disappointed, I needed Denis Villeneuve to redeem himself with Prisoners. Not only did he redeem himself, he went for perfection and nailed it. What a freaking masterpiece with an amazing crew led by Jack Hughman Jake Gyllenhaal, Paul Dano, and David Dastmalchian Paul Dano had an amazing act portraying as Alex, perfectly fitting a villain role as he seems to always come into.  I caught myself having a rapid heartbeat many times throughout the film, and that was supported by the questionable zooms and the puzzle slowly coming together. Even topics mentioned in the beginning of the film looped around to the end and was eventually left with no dead ends.. until the end! I honestly can’t say how amazing Prisoners was in words, you must see it for yourself.. if you have considering it released in 2013. Denis Villeneuve, you outdid yourself with this one.
