Look Back
I had never heard of this manga or anime before, but after finding out a live-action adaptation is coming out this year, I figured I'd finally give it a watch.
What have I been missing?!
I absolutely loved this. Look Back is a beautiful love letter to every mangaka and anyone who's ever dreamed of becoming an artist, comic creator, or manga artist. It perfectly captures the passion, obsession, self-doubt, and joy that come with creating something from nothing.
It's the kind of story that quietly pulls you in, touches your heart, and then completely breaks it before you even realize what's happening. Simple, heartfelt, and incredibly impactful.
