I believe this film will resonate with a lot of people. Many of us are like Hirayama, we do quiet, unnoticed work, yet stay grounded and at peace. But society demands too much, pushing everyone into this endless race. To live like Hirayama is simply to have a small world of your own. Life can actually be simple. We don’t need much, we just ask for too much. We’re all trying so hard to survive that we forget how to truly live.
