Hawkeye
Of all the crap Marvel pumped out in the last 2 years, this is one of the only ones that I actually enjoyed! And enough to watch twice! Wow! Is more than 50% of the reason I liked it because it takes place in NYC during Christmas? Absolutely.
But I also like that they acknowledge that Clint is kind of boring, and they even poke fun at the archery stuff with the LARPers. I mean come on, it’s a little ridiculous. Kate is a pretty good character, albeit with some stupid dialogue but still, good new characters in Marvel projects are few and far between. The story ties into the greater MCU, but only enough to loosely connect with Black Widow and the aftermath of Endgame. This works for the same reason that Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3 worked - because the MCU is so incoherent and overstuffed with content that no one wants to keep up with it anymore. I love that Hawkeye feels like an old Marvel movie, that you could watch randomly without having to research the multiverse.
Also Christmas!!! Wholesome and fun, probably my favorite post Disney+ Marvel project besides Spider-Man: No Way Home and Loki.
