Probably my 15th rewatch at least, and it’s just so good every single time so I obviously had to put it on here. Nick Nolte breaks my heart, Tom Hardy (and his massive traps) breaks my heart, and Joel Egerton and his family breaks my heart. EVERYONE breaks your heart that’s why it’s so good!!! It’s like someone smashes your heart and then hugs you, okay. It’s a sports movie where you want to root for both sides!! Yes, when you go into it it’s pretty obvious what the story is building to, but it executes it so well that you don’t even care when it goes there because you’re just so invested in everything.
And I’m always game for a good sports montage!! AH I love this movie so much
