i looooooove thisssss the chemistry between jess and celine is impeccable. THEIR EYES, the eyes never lie, chico. how can they act like that but not fall in love irl?! the tension between them when they yap about topics unrelated to love, but the way they listen and immerse themselves in it is portrayed very well. they just stand there without doing anything and you still see the love in the air. the movie is romantic but still mixed with reality. the reality is that they don't meet at the promised place, don't have any contact information, live 2 different lives and wonder what if they not missed each other. the movie describes the scene of meeting again after 9 years so well, the longing eyes, the awkwardness that comes to mind, the catch-up conversations about the past 9 years, to know that jesse is married and has a son, celine has a boyfriend, to know that they really missed each other. This part is filmed so beautifully, it still has the vibe of part 1 but because it was filmed during the day, it looks much more dreamy. celine's hair shone golden in the sun like a fairy. the movie is really my type in every aspect. the plot, the scenes, the color grading, the actors, and their chemistry. i will never get tired of their yapping session, everything is very romantic but just enough, not cheesy, the camera angles are simple without sophisticated tricks but still capture the love in the air. in general, i loveeeeeeeeee
