The Friends

this movie is the purest form of love and wholesome. the kids were so innocent yet full of love. that innocent curiosity is so adorable. The final scenes really reminded me of my childhood. when my grandfather passed away, I kept blaming him for dying, and then when I saw a butterfly flying, I thought it was him. a simple movie, nothing grand or large-scale, but full of weight. the contrast between the old man and the kids is like a symbol of the wheel of time in life. the well flowing with water scene made me think of the old man crying when he had to say goodbye to the trio, goodbye to the house full of cosmos, goodbye to mortal life. A slow pace but not boring, very heart-warming movie.
