Jaws

Second time watching this classic Spielberg film. After my first watch I considered giving it a 4.5/5 and not a 5/5 purely because of few areas where the film becomes quite lacking. The grieving mother who confronts Chief Brody on paper should be a heart wrenching scene, however it doesn’t quite show on camera which unfortunately took me out of the film on both of my watches. The film is, however, a perfect example of the modern summer blockbuster. The second Quint, Hooper, and Brody step foot on The Orca the film becomes perfection itself.
