I have no words this is literally a masterpiece

This movie was honestly a mix of really good and really frustrating, young Cathy and Heathcliff were adorable and their bond at the start felt so genuine, but they were both so in denial and made such dumb choices later on. Heathcliff clearly loves Cathy, but he’s way too mean to her and that just ruins it sometimes. Cathy herself is strong and doesn’t fake being polite, which I liked, even if she slowly starts going a bit dark. The cinematography is beautiful and some parallel scenes were actually so smart, but parts of the romance felt kinda corny, and the outfits didn’t always look right. Also, Edgar is selfish, Isabella is weird, and Cathy’s dad is just awful. The ending made me mad because they really didn’t have to do all that 😭
