Lilya 4-ever
Pureness, naivety… Innocence. Do you not know that a little yeast leavens the whole dough?
There’s something about being young, very young that is, that allows us to radiate a sun-like dose of a jubilant heart. A heart that yearns, that beseeches to suffice its fairytale dreams and desires— a heart that loves.
Is it deliberate? Do we naturally conjure façades before our eyes? A masquerade to hide a hideous visage? It is purity, the purity of a child’s conscience. A virgin mind, unadulterated by the filthy scum that resides amongst us.
Lilya is a young mind that much like a lump of dough that has been mixed with yeast, slowly losing its purity and there’s no turning back. The process is slow, but incessantly changing its shape and form. Much like a leavened dough, the setting plays a major role in its process. I reiterate, there’s no turning back.
