*"How do you know if we're good people pretending to be bad? Or bad ones pretending to be good?"* I went into this expecting some kinda sexy Bonny & Clyde thriller but instead got a sort of crime drama I guess? Honestly it started out kinda promising. The movie is decent, but I feel like it suffers from an identity crisis, because it tries to fit and do too many things at once & it just sort of falls flat at the end. The relationship with her dad started out okay? & then just ended up being diluted to 10 second phone calls. She drives all the way down to South Carolina for her mom only her for to blow her off in that first scene which then enables her to want to rob more? Plus you would think that during these robberies she would use the $ to buy a a new disguise or a new wig, but that’s just me. Also I kinda expected Oliver to be more involved in the robberies cus after all he was the con man, but he was just on the sidelines until the end or atleast when it came to getting Caroline out of trouble. Their chemistry is good but overall it’s pretty forgettable.

lmaooo for the most part these mfs still got it. That Teyana Taylor scene was everything 😭

Okay just fyi… IDK SHIT ABOUT HE MAN At nearly 2 & a half hours, this movie was def way too long. It should’ve been structured so much better script wise. The intro had me hooked & then I got thrown into a fucking roller coaster of inconsistency & scenes that were just kinda like what? The colors, costumes, action (for the most part), Nicholas as Adam, & Jared Leto as Skeletor (for the most part too cus he was kind of a dumbass when it came to actually trying to obtain the sword) were actually pretty cool & I think Travis did pretty good it’s just the writing that’s holding this back. Also the campiness I appreciated for the most part cus it’s something that comic book movies seem to be ashamed off nowadays, tho it can just feel dragged out a bit. This is like if Guardians Of The Galaxy was made by CW on a crack budget.

Ahh, to be young, dumb & free in cape cod during the 90’s.
