Okay, yes it was overhyped upon release BUT I fear this suffers from having a select few amazing scenes surrounded by lowkey mid-ness. Do looooove seeing folklore depicted tho especially from this lens that hasn’t necessarily been explored before in a narrative, also love having my decade long on and off crush on jack o’Connell reinvigorated— Remmick makes such a good villain in the way of if this was written from his perspective it could’ve been sympathetic. That makes an excellent villain in my eyes. Idk I wish this wasn’t so overhyped, I would’ve actually loved it. Easily the best parts were breezed past, meanwhile other parts just draaaagged. Soundtrack? Practical effects? Love.
