Should I have seen the original? The mystery unfolded in a shockingly boring way and I was not engaged at all during the entirety of it. The story itself wasn’t bad.

“When it comes to p*ssy, I have no friends” So where exactly is the … hostel part of Hostel III? They upgraded to fancy facility in remote area near Las Vegas I guess. I thought it was gonna subvert expectations by having the villain win and no victim making it out alive, but I guess that ending counts as subverting expectations too so not horrible.

Ok so in this one, he has previously killed the guy in a train station bathroom but I watched the director’s cut of the first film where he kidnaps his daughter and doesn’t kill him oops. Didn’t drag in the beginning like the first film Watchable. And I think objectively slightly more entertaining than the first one.

Bigfoot mf carried the whole movie. Did that lady being racist play any part in the plot that I missed? One of those films where I gotta point out how beautiful the cinematography was cause I can’t say much about the script, as I was bored multiple times throughout this. When Bigfoot mf showed up, I was locked in but then the movie got boring and 40 minutes in, the “remembers past lives” aspect is nowhere to be seen until later on. Very slow and not as interesting as I hoped.
