he was such a loser……. ryland grace i would go to the other side of the universe with you….. rocky…. i am so maternal over you…. my son…. the cinematography was absolutely stunning. the lens flares to emphasize the importance of their suns. grace and rocky’s relationship meant everything to me, taking the same to understand each other. i loved the pacing of both timelines so we can understand grace’s characer. he didn’t believe in himself but rocky believed in him so much :( and in the end, he got to choose. he’s a hero.

throughout the film, you’re manipulated into feeling stressed or scared due to the camera’s manipulation, which is great! i love that! you’re also hearing the film through manipulated sound design which is also great! but then at the end, you’re left feeling a little underwhelmed… i kinda felt blue ball’ed. the premise was great, however! i just wished there was more substance.
