Prisoners

I don’t even know what to say. This is the definition of a thriller. The fact that I was locked in within the first 10 minutes is something special. I felt every emotion throughout the entire film. I am a music guy, but not this time. I didn’t need any music to sit through this. I did not pause the film or leave my seat the entire 2 1/2 hours, which is very rare. Performances were just…. Amazing. Jake Gyllenhaal was outstanding, as was Hugh Jackman. Paul Dano gave an incredible underrated performance. The film is finished but I still want to know more. Plot twists, ups, downs, Prisoners had it all. Well done, Denis Villeneuve. We do everything we can for them…
