Dune: Part Two
Ironic how each cause of the Baron’s death were the things he cared so dear for:
First, his lack of control over and lack of will to head to the south of the Desert caused the Emperor to have him thrown to the ground, beaten and bruised. His first cause of death was his desert.
Second, he was stabbed by his grandson, who had become the messiah of Arrakis and practically its ruler. His second cause of death was his Arrakis.
Lastly, he was thrown in the dunes of the desert, left to rot and die in the land he obsessed so greatly over. His third and final cause of death was his Dune.
So, the baron died to the things he cared so much about, and like he said…Arrakis is Arrakis and the desert takes the weak, and it took him,
His desert, his Arrakis, his Dune.
