If a film could summarise a genre of film, this would be it for film noir Jane Greer makes for a sensational femme fatale, with Mitcham and Douglas making valued contributions They don’t make em like this anymore, I probably owed it more respect

Quite a harrowing film, which is dominated by a sensational performance from Al Pacino  Felt like a T*rainspotting* pre cursor with a decrepit New York City providing a really bleak setting

Darn solid picture about a historical figure I knew very little about Quite a sad and harrowing story about the suppression of the African American in America  Spike Lee is really growing on me
