The Notebook

Every time I watch this film I cry when they lie on the bed together. Alzheimer’s and dementia are such cruel diseases it reminds me of my Great grandma, and theres nothing harder than watching someone you love fade away and forget you. But this film beautifully portrayed the small moments of hope and happiness and teaches us to appreciate these moments while we can. For love can last a lifetime even if it is forgotten or we choose to ignore it. It will always be there in the background. That is why Ali had to return to Noah even though time had passed.
