Frankenstein
This was so beautiful and amazing! I loved all the pregnancy and birth imagery throughout the film. I also loved how Elizabeth plays a bigger role here and loved the relationships she had with the Frankensteins (including the creator). Jacob Elordi also did such an amazing job. I was very impressed. His body language and movement was on point. I am, however, a bit disappointed that there was nothing like a book about Williams's death in the film. That moment felt like when the creature truly became a monster, and Justine's quote is one of my favorites in the entire book. So, I wished there was something even remotely like that in the film. Nonetheless, the movie was great, and I felt like a lot of the changes that they made were at least understandable.
I hope this director gives us more gothic book adaptations.
