Backrooms

I think that people's problems with this movie can mostly be boiled down to "it's too plot-heavy" or "it's not plot-heavy enough". People would either want it to stay exactly the way it was - a mysterious horror story on the internet or they would want to have everything explained step by step. Personally, I think the narrative was brilliant; the story was interesting and engaging, but in a way that still framed the place as the main character. It was explained just enough, but still kept a decent aura of mystery and mythology. A brilliant movie imo.
