Yeah sure maybe this is where the franchise completely loses its marbles with the magical never-ending runway or the flying leap at 100+mph across a highway or the fucking TANK. But I'll be damned if Vin Diesel doing a diving headbutt into a dude that dwarfs The Rock isn't the finest moment this franchise has ever produced.

*"Are you Peter Parker ...* *or are you Spiderman?"* We are so back. This is how you do a Spiderman movie. By far the most grounded and rough and messy iteration of Tom Holland's web slinger, the first of his that's really truly finally felt like proper friendly-neighboured Spiderman and not multiversal-threat nanotech-suit Spiderman. Character arc was PERFECT, it looked great and it was very well written, it wasn't strewn with unnecessary cameo porn or disproportionately huge fights and sequences, and every character felt like they deserved to be there. Just a grounded, character-driven Spiderman movie which is what we and Tom Holland all deserve. *[2026 Ranked](https://boxd.it/RE3ac)* *[MCU Ranked](https://boxd.it/b08rE)*

I hate to admit it but this shit ROCKED
