Shutter Island

YESSS ive been searching for any movie thatll have me hooked all the way and this movie did it for me from the first few minutes, you know somethings going on you just cant figure out what is it. honestly for the last few minutes i waa convinced he was right and this is all just gaslighting because of how trippy it was maybe im just gullible but he made perfect excuses for everything hed been told to the point the watcher believed him, i like how hes an unreliable narrator it makes you see how he sees the world and whyd he consider himself a monster, in the end he did get cured you can see it in all their eyes but he just accepted that he cant live with the grief and guilt and the chance of relapsing daily and he just wanted let it go  "which would be worse, to live as a monster or die as a good man?"
