The misandrist in me loves this film but literally everything else other than the concept absolutely sucks. Making it seem like Rachel was turned off the second her crush started showing emotion insinuating women WANT men to be emotionless & nonchalant was pretty fucked lol. And plus why tf is zoey moping around the second half of the film as if she couldn’t easily turn it all off within a nanosecond. Being all sad and shit and confused stfu lmao also turning the mom into one of those buzzkill boring husbands in horror movies where he doesn’t believe a single word his wife is saying till he dies was the nail in the coffin. The proof is RIGHT there. The husband believes it but the MOM doesn’t? Right. “You just gotta let men be themselves and accept them anyway because forcing them to be decent won’t make anything better” a male wrote this line.
