Wasteman

wasteman just wanted to start this review by saying that i’ve been waiting to watch this film for fucking ages and HOLY SHIT. the rapport between the two upcoming stars tom blyth and david jonsson is genuinely phenomenal and they made their relationship feel very authentic and believable. Cal McMau did a fantastic job as the director and the idea to film parts of this film with an iphone was truly genius, this led to the film feeling that but more gritty and immersive. the depiction of prison in wasteman was horrendous. usually you have movies like shawshank and tv shows like prison break which portray prison more mellow than it actually is, however wasteman was not scared to show the horror that goes on in a prison. BRILLIANT FILM
