Sinners
Genuinely one of the best films I've ever seen.
Every single character was so incredibly written, an brimming with personality from the start.
The music worked incredibly well into the horror elements and built the atmosphere perfectly the whole film sounded beautiful and felt like a love letter to music itself in a way.
The themes and imagery were so well done it was such a nuanced, beautiful view on religion and the southern gothic vampire genre.
When people say shit about "not enough original films nowadays" this shows that cinema is so fucking back we're literally in a renaissance of films.
