Heat

This is the coolest movie ever. The way it blends character work with high stakes and huge scale is amazing. Reminds me of sopranos the way it’s these “tough” criminals are very real and have personal and family lives to deal with outside their work. One of the best sound designs I’ve ever heard, greatest ending I’ve ever seen, amazing cinematography, amazing characters, greatest climax I’ve ever seen, top 1 scene of all time maybe (Pacino and Deniro coffee scene). I mean it’s almost like every scene is the next best scene of all time. Michael Mann knows how to get you locked in. That last hour is just insane.
