Rogue One is without a doubt the best Star Wars movie since the disney takeover. It is set just before *A New Hope *and if you’re watching chronologically for the first time your excitement for Episode IV will be sky high. This movie looks fantastic and the story is compelling. We get a bit of insight into The Empire and how The Death Star came to be, which was interesting. Some important characters made a return. Tarkin and Leia in CGI form (I get why they did that but it’s very noticeable) and some cameos from Darth Vader, and he was so fucking badass in this movie. Especially the last fight. It’s kind of annoying they couldn’t replicate the dark cadence of The Empire for The First Order, The First Order was honestly a joke after Force Awakens, when it should’ve been as terrifying as The Empire.
