Daisies

strange, playful, anarchic, and beautiful- truly a film of gluttony and excess in more ways than one. hyper-aware of its own medium, it leans into its silliness in a way that makes space for a strangely poignant discussion of femininity, exploitation, and hierarchy. the cinematography in this film is also incredible- some of my favorite shots i’ve seen in a while. definitely will be revisiting this soon
