The metaphor of dismantling things as destroying your old, soulless life was beautiful. Grief really teaches you something. The pacing of the film gets slower as we go into the film. But Jake Gyllenhaal's action carries you through it. I like it when movie shows platonic friendship between a man and a woman. Nothing superficial, just a deep emotional bond between two people ♡

Didn't hit me as much as it did in theatre. Felt slow paced, wasnt too scary. I do like how unsettling the atmosphere of the film was. Brilliant performance by Inde Navarette. Poor Nikki, how her autonomy was taken away by Bear and how everything ended up being a disaster at the end.. she deserved better :((
