Soul
this movie was actually my assignment and task by my adviser who's also my research teacher who made us watch this film because he observed that we were struggling on finding a specific field (scientific research field) to work on and most of the groups were also having hard times to find problem on our own so our teacher assigned us to watch this film which focuses on the purpose of life.
the question "what is the purpose of your study?" is the question we stumble upon everytime we propose a research study to the panelist/s, so does the philosophical question "what is the purpose of life?" honestly, in my view, no real answer could and would suffice that question because our answer would solely depend only to our own individual situation. this film's cinematography was toptier masterpiece as it deeply catches the audience' mood and its impact in our soul. they used warm tones to light up the film's hopeless vibe from the start but honestly didn't help me at all, i guess it was because i didn't trust the main characters as he was a coward and helpless too. one thing that i love is that i felt small and big while watching this movie because it showed how limitless you can be as long as you chase your dreams and live your life as it is but it also contradicts the state of being free given the fact that death is just near us, watching us from afar till it gets to us and by the time it has come, we wouldn't be able to do anything but just accept the fact that our life is over.
wished i yapped right after i watched this cuz i had so many thoughts lingering inside my head when i finished watching this
