Oppenheimer
I will watch any biopic ever made, they never cease to entertain me. I love literally any movie Christopher Nolan touches. Absolutely gorgeous movie. I could watch it with no sound, no subtitles, and just stare, in awe of how beautifully it was shot.
My eyes were practically glued to the screen during any scene Rami Malek was featured in. Without the addition of Josh Peck, this is probably the hottest cast ever (this may be due to the fact that literally every actor ever is in this). Although, Robert Downey Jr. better get some really impressive hair plugs when his hair reaches the point where it resembles how it looks in this film. Let’s face it, the man cannot pull off balding.
While this might not be Devon Bostick’s best performance (Rodrick Rules is his peak, this is a close second), he really showed up for his few moments of screen time and I loved every second he was in.
I was in an absolute state of shock when my viewing experience was harshly interrupted by Cillian Murphy and Florence Pugh butt naked on my living room television.
I truly didn’t think that anyone could pull off suspenders as Louis Tomlinson did in 2011, but Cillian Murphy has proven me wrong.
J. Robert Oppenheimer was truly the original fuckboy. He would have been a perfect fit in the hype house circa 2019.
Oppenheimer calling the literal atomic bomb a “gadget” was too funny.
My one question I was pondering on during the entire three hours that this film went on for was: why did everyone think these silly hats looked good at the time?
I will soon be falling victim to going down a long rabbit hole of informational video essays about Oppenheimer and any other relating topics.
