A Serious Man

Larry didnt do anything‼️ This is my favourite coen brother film. They finally perfect their humour and hit on a real vein of religious and moral introspectivity. Marshak is the kind of device that i get behind. I can’t empathise with Larrys decision making, but i think this is because he is meant to represent an almost pure Job, with a patience and tolerance i simply couldn't touch. A criticism i see is the presentation of the jewish people but this is a film by jews for jews, and is nothing short of a caricaturical, warts and all ode to the community the brothers grew up in. Big fan of the Buñuel dream craic, of Deakins’ work, of the ending. I wish i could stop giving out 5 stars but i stand by them all
