Gladiator

11/10 I wish words could describe how watching this film makes me feel. How the soundtrack makes me feel. The hand running through the wheat. The battles. The glory. The sacrifice for revenge, and for freedom. And let’s not forget Russell Crowe just being fucking legendary.  Whenever I hear “Now We Are Free” I am hit by the emotions contained within this great masterpiece all at once. Hans Zimmer really outdid himself with this film score, but when doesn’t he.  I watch films to this day for the first time that are dubbed “one of the greatest films of all time” but they don’t seem to even come close to this. I can’t see there ever being a day where I find the film that is superior to Gladiator.  Also, I know that some might find this film “historically inaccurate” but films such as this are here to entertain, and are you not entertained?
