The Batman
Batman movies rewatch 2025 (8/8)
March 4th, 2022.
I walked into the Sello theater, as one casual teen—ordinary, unshaken. The world outside still felt familiar, I was young, stupid, and carrying a feeling I have had since I was little. A feeling of being different from everyone my age—an isolation I feared, but couldn’t escape . But when the screen lit up, shadows bled into my mind. Gotham’s pain became my own.
Two hours and fifty-six minutes later, I stepped back into the night, I felt strong tingles around my body mentally and physically. The same streets, the same sky… but I was different. Something had shifted. The feeling of loneliness, being myself no longer frightened me—it called to me. The weight of vengeance, of justice, pressed into my chest.
For the next week or two, I couldn't think anything else than this movie.
I didn’t just watch The Batman.
I became a part of it. And it became a part of me.
And I didn’t walk out as the same bloke that walked into the theater, I grew and had a great realization.
Ya'll don't fw batman the same way I do. I see myself in the character in ways that I cannot explain. I may sound corny but that's just the way it is.
Thank you, Matt Reeves.
This should be enough for you to understand what I think about this film.
I rate 10/10
