The cinematography does some heavy lifting throughout the movie. I was damn near gonna have a heart attack waiting for the ancient evil-mistress-demon to appear. Your eyes constantly steer towards the dark blobs or the hallway looking for clues because of how mundane everything else is. Though, it is kind of silly how this woman is the perfect victim for such an attack. We really picked the women with a shaky relationship and a horrifyingly orthodox dying mother who likes to record scary podcasts at night and scribble dark figures on paper.
