Arrival

The first act of the movie was hard to keep up with even when there wasn’t really much going on. Loved everything about the portrayal of Aliens. The setting, design, introduction-everything . The movie was on its course to be decent with that building tension and great cinematography and that’s when the entire thing took a turn. Everything that came after that revelation was breathtakingly beautiful. How it completely reframes the entire narrative that was put forward at the beginning and Louise’s journey. The courage and determinism that the film tried to convey hit so hard. How one should aim to traverse through the eventual heartbreak that might be waiting along the road because the moments in between are worth all the pain. It just booked a spot in my all time favourites
