I Wish

This movie to me is so important to my childhood in terms of looking back at my younger self. Being half Japanese I would visit family in Japan every summer and go on adventures very similar like this group of friends in the film. It's cute, fun, serious, and all about growing up and understanding your position in the world. The cinematography is grounded and sets the world in the eyes of a child perfectly. My family and I love this film.
