Not your typical coming-of-age film
Watched this because of numerous recommendations from the twitter thread. I'd have to say that I agree with the recos and after watching this movie, it will also be added to my suggestions to someone who wants to explore the Philippine cinema. Napakita ng Moral ang kalagayan ng mga kababaihan sa Pilipinas at kalagayan ng mga progresibong grupo sa kamay ng sistemang macho-pyudal at mapang-api. Ang daming nalibot ng film na mga isyu sa Pilipinas na hanggang ngayon ay relevant pa rin sa bansa.
