Before Sunset
*“You know, I think that book that I wrote, in a way, was like building something. So that I wouldn't forget the... details of the time that we spent together. You know, like just a reminder that... that once we really did meet! You know, that this was real! That this happened!”

This movie is just as good as the first one, probably even better. Idk, these movies have me feeling some type of way and making me have this different thought process. When they start talking about how they wished they exchanged numbers, how they were young and stupid. Then they realized maybe it was good they didn’t, that feeling of them still being there, but they aren’t, and life is moving on. If they did exchange numbers, that beautiful connection and relationship would be different. Makes me wish I'd grown up in a time when it was harder to get in touch. Because, to be honest, they’re right: nowadays you say goodbye to your lover, but then you’re constantly snapping them, texting them, FaceTiming them, whatever. It feels like it’s fading, the fake sayings as I miss you even though you’re talking to each other. That feeling of emptiness isn’t there. This is one amazing movie, my favorite so far, even though the other one is rated higher. The feeling of them wanting each other, but they can’t in certain circumstances they’re in. Just as in the first one, but different; they were young but had purpose elsewhere. These movies feel like more than just acting; they feel like genuinely long conversations and connections that I’m in love with, these long, beautiful scenes with no cuts.
